A Private Investigator's job is to find the truth and provide it to their client. In addition they must understand how to quickly locate information using tools of the trade; the internet, social media websites, covert surveillance equipment, and have the personality and ability to solicit the truth during interviews with victims, witnesses and potential suspects. But most importantly a Private Investigator must understand their client's needs and take those needs into consideration.

Since 2009 M.G.T. Investigative Services has provided

Michael Tyus, a retired Detective Supervisor formerly with the Los Angeles Police Department, founded M.G.T. Investigative Services in 2009. He is the primary Investigator and has over three decades of experience handling critically sensitive investigations. Before his retirement, Michael was a Detective Supervisor heading a team of surveillance and intelligence operators. During his time with the L.A.P.D. Michael actively supervised and participated in thousands of sensitive investigations and surveillances. He was the primary surveillance instructor for the L.A.P.D.'s Basic Detective School and the Robert Presley Institute for Criminal Investigation (ICI). Michael was also a certified surveillance instructor for the California Police Officers Standards and Training (POST).
